The HECHT PrecisOR® is "Product of the Year" at CWIEME Berlin 2026!

Besigheim/Berlin. There are moments you never forget. The exact moment our name was announced at CWIEME Berlin as the winner of the “Product of the Year” award is certainly one of them. We are incredibly proud – and we want to share this success with you.

CWIEME Berlin – The Meeting Place for Our Industry

CWIEME Berlin (Coil Winding, Insulation and Electrical Manufacturing Exhibition) is Europe’s leading trade fair for coil winding, insulation, and electrical manufacturing. For 30 years, it has brought together the entire value chain of the electrical industry at the Berlin Exhibition Grounds: manufacturers of transformers, electric motors, and generators, suppliers, developers, and decision-makers from around the world. From May 19 to 21, 2026, Berlin was once again the center of electrification – and we were right in the thick of it.

From Customer Encouragement to the Shortlist

The fact that we applied for the “Product of the Year” award in the first place is largely thanks to our customers. Many of them encouraged us time and again: “You have to apply with the PrecisOR®!” This trust motivated us – and indeed, our fully automated optical measurement system made it onto the shortlist.

The competition was strong. The tension was all the greater when the decision was finally made: The HECHT PrecisOR® prevailed against exciting competitors and convinced the jury across the board.

Why the PrecisOR® Convinced the Jury

The PrecisOR® scored points in all key evaluation categories:

Innovation & Differentiation: The automated measurement of transformer sheets up to 7,500 mm in length, custom-developed software, and the ability to retrofit the system into existing production lines without mechanical modifications make the PrecisOR® unique on the market.
Technical Excellence: Optical detection of all component-specific criteria – dimensions, contours, slots, drilled holes –, software-based target-performance comparison with customer-specific tolerance specifications, and automatic generation of measurement programs from machine data. Purely electrical drive components without compressed air, deployable directly in the production hall – without needing laboratory conditions.
Performance & Validation: Proven measurement system capability through MSA 1 and MSA 2 – the operator has no influence on the final result. How this impacts practice is impressively demonstrated by our Case Study with the LTC Group: Measurements that previously took up to 20 minutes are now completed in seconds – without interrupting the production line.
Market Relevance: The PrecisOR® speeds up quality checks, ensures quality through precise measurements, and significantly reduces production downtime. Unattended testing frees up resources for staff.
